Space lovers have a chance to spend a lifetime holiday by 2020 and realize their dream of going into space, but only if the travelers are billions. Houston-based Axiom Space, a Houston-based private space company, plans to organize tours to the ISS starting in 2020.
But the once-in-a-lifetime trip is available at a very high price of £ 41 million, equivalent to $ 55 million. This cost covers a 10-day training program, including transportation to and from the ISS, and length of stay. “It is an honor for us to continue the work begun by NASA and its partners to raise awareness of the deep benefits of space exploration and involve more countries and ordinary citizens in these endeavors,” said Axiom Space CEO Michael Savridini.
In addition to organizing flights to the International Space Station, Axiom Space is also developing its own space station, which can accommodate passengers by 2022. Axiom Space is not the only company to build its own space station, Called Orion Span, plans to launch a luxury space hotel by 2022.
